Milwaukee has a bunch of crossfits. Milwaukee has a bunch of lady crossfitters. These lady crossfitters like to get together and workout, and I think that is awesome. So Saturdays we have a ladies class. And it kicks my ass. I was happy to be back in a group workout environment today. My hotel WOD’s were good, but it’s really nice to have a cheering squad.
Warm-up:
Strength: Snatch pulls 3-3-3-3-3 I went with 85 lbs today. It was awesome. Still a little confused by the hip opening, but the better my form got, the easier it was to open up at the top. This was fun. I like the heavy stuff.

Gah, my lunges, my hips, my body. This was rough today. I didn’t stretch my hips good enough and my right hip got a little stiff. Made me nervous (it does this frightening half pop out thing that hurts like hell) so I held back a little with the lunges. Overall, workout was good even though I didn’t feel too strong.
