Yesterday was kettledumbbell swings. I went with 30 lbs. This is the most I have ever done because I have only done kettlebell WOD’s twice.  My arms a SUPER sore, but it a weird place.  Like where the bicep meets the elbow pit area. I was doing a full over head swing, but as you can imagine, the grip was a little tricky on hotel dumbells.

Question: Is this a normal place to be sore from dumbell swings or was my form off?

  1. mefragments answered: IMHO it is normal you’re placing a considerable amount of work on your forearms and biceps during the swing.

  6. prettydirts answered: totally normal, especially with an exercise youre not doing on a regular basis :)
